After the group's initial meeting, everyone had split up to pursue various undertakings. Currently, Azula and Katara were sitting in the main room of the healing hut with Jalus, Sokka, and Iroh. The Kyoshi Warriors had gone with Tashi and Damek to the training yard behind Jalus's home, while Jeong Jeong and Shen had chosen to meditate.

"When do you think they'll be here, Jalus?" Tashi asked the older man as they sat down for their morning tea.
"The day the sun shines longer than any other," Jalus replied as his assistant poured his cup. He paused and leaned over the drink, inhaling the sweet scent of jasmine—a gift from the Grand Lotus.
"The solstice," Tashi realized. He then smiled. "That's today."
The healer nodded, his green eyes twinkling. "This will be our most important work yet."
"I'm ready."

Darkness had descended in the small town of Norbu—one of the last free villages remaining in the northwestern Earth Kingdom. The town's healer, a slim but strong elderly man named Jalus, was getting ready to turn in for the night when a sharp knock fell on his door before it opened. He lifted his dark green eyes up to meet those of a young man in his early twenties—his assistant, Tashi—who looked to be a little out of breath.
"What's the rush, Tashi?" he asked lightly.
"A group of kids just arrived in town who need your help—one of the girls has several broken bones and

Blue flames shot out from Azula's hands and feet, allowing the firebender to propel herself forward and up the side of the ruins and toward the assassin. Her pleasant mood from earlier had all but evaporated, and now in its place was fierce determination.
Azula had two objectives. The most important of them was to take Daha down, which she knew wouldn't be easy. There was a reason he was still alive—he was the best in his line of work, and she had seen him first hand in the Agni Kai arenas. She knew what he was capable of. Fanfiction Summaries
| Here's a quick rundown of the stories that are in my gallery and more or less what they are about. In Progress Dreams of Glass: What if Azula’s plan to double-cross Long Feng backfired and the Dai Li remained loyal to him? The whole Gaang is in this one. Eventual Azula/Katara with hints of Sokka/Suki and Zuko/Mai. Falling: A "behind the scenes" Tyzula fic set during Book 3 from episodes 305 through post-finale. The Princess and the Acrobat: 100 sentences and drabbles about Azula and Ty Lee. Eventually will total 5 sets of 50 bringing the grand total to 250. To Tread Lightning: What if Azula hadn’t lost her mind? How different would the outcome of the war have been? Azula/Ty Lee, Katara/Aang, Sokka/Suki, implied Zuko/Mai What It Is To Burn: What if Zuko was the favored child of Ozai and Azula was not? Mostly Azula-centric. So far, pairings include Mai/Zuko and Yue/Sokka. Completed Destiny Altered: This story picks up during the last episode of Book 3, and explores the evolution of Azula’s character after she was defeated in an Agni Kai and sent to a mental institution. Azula/Katara Never Seen Blue: This story takes place in an alternate Avatar universe where Katara and Sokka never discovered Aang in the iceberg. Set 3 years post-series. Azula/Katara One-Shots The Beach: Ty Lee reflects on her day at the beach and her feelings for Azula. Azula/Ty Lee Summer Haze: Two years after the war, Azula has returned home. Katara and Aang are in the Fire Nation for the semi-annual summit, but their relationship is on the rocks. Mostly Azula/Katara with some Katara/Aang. Uncalm: "Ty Lee had never seen Azula look at her that way before, but she knew the look for what it was. Blood lust." Azula/Ty Lee Whisper to Scream: Kanna left the Northern Water Tribe for a better life at the South Pole. She had a taste of it before the Fire Nation took it all away.
